Statement Of Faith
We believe in One God (Deut. 6:4, Isaiah 45:5-7; 1 Corinthians 8:4), eternally existing in three Persons, God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit, distinctively known as the Trinity. He is creator and Lord of the Universe, perfect, omniscient, omnipresent, infinite and all knowing. (Genesis 1:1, Hebrews 1:1-3)
We believe that the Bible, both Old and New Testament is the divinely inspired Word of God (Matthew 5:18; John 17:17). It is God’s written revelation to man, authoritative in our lives, and it is inerrant in the original documents, infallible and God inspired (2 Timothy 3 16-17). It reveals God’s heart, desire, purpose and requirements for the believer. In all, it points to salvation through Jesus Christ alone by His grace through faith. (Eph 2:8-10)
We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God (John 3:16) and is coequal and coeternal with the Father (John 10:30; 14:9), was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life and died a substitutionary death on the cross to atone for our sins. He rose bodily from the grave ascended into heaven where as truly God and truly man, He is the only mediator between God & man. (Isaiah 7:14; 9:6-7; Matthew 1:18-25; John 1:1-3; Philippians 2:5-11)
